Kuwaiti citizenship withdrawn from an artist and a singer
A decree has been issued to withdraw Kuwaiti citizenship from artist Dawood Hussein and singer Nawal Al-Kuwaitiya.
According to the decree published in the Official Gazette of Kuwait today, the decision to withdraw the Kuwaiti citizenship has been issued for artist Dawood Hussein and singer Nawal Al-Kuwaitiya, along with those who acquired citizenship through affiliation.
The Supreme Committee for Nationality Investigation decided in its meeting last Thursday to withdraw and revoke citizenship from 1,758 cases, in preparation for presenting them to the Council of Ministers.
