Launching of ‘Fifth Scientific Club for Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ at Al-Adan hospital

The significant event will feature three scientific sessions presenting latest medical developments, and will host eight senior international doctors and experts from the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Lebanon, UAE, and Turkey.

The ‘Fifth Scientific Club for Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ will be launched this Saturday, 9 November, at the Regency Hotel, under the auspices of Al-Adan Hospital and the supervision of the hospital’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.

The event is also supported by the Kuwaiti Committee representing the ‘Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ and the Council of Obstetrics and Gynecology Departments’.

The Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at Al-Adan Hospital and Head of the Kuwaiti Committee representing the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Abeer Al-Thaidi, highlighted that this gathering is a pioneering scientific event. It will run from 10 AM to 9 PM, which aims to promote awareness of women’s health, while enhancing the skills of doctors and healthcare practitioners, in both the public and private sector as well.

Al-Thaidi explained that the event will feature three scientific sessions presenting the latest medical developments. Participants will also receive seven scientific points that are accredited by the ‘Kuwait Institute for Medical Specializations’.

Regarding visits by foreign experts, Al-Thaidi noted that the club will host eight senior international doctors and experts from the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Lebanon, UAE, and Turkey. These specialists will share their experiences and knowledge with doctors in Kuwait, fostering international cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of women’s health.

On a significant note, Al-Thaidi continued that the event will feature a comprehensive medical exhibition, showcasing latest medical devices and consumables. Additionally, two workshops will be held to train doctors on modern techniques.

Moreover, urging medical professionals for participation, Al-Thaidi encouraged all those interested in women’s health to join and take part in this special event, especially those aiming to enhance knowledge and improve the healthcare provided to women.
