Digital empowerment through AI to enhance Kuwait’s global competitiveness
Najat Ibrahim, Acting Director General of the Central Agency for Information Technology, stressed the importance of enhancing digital empowerment by adopting advanced technical solutions, and spreading the culture of artificial intelligence and Cybersecurity.
This is in line with the “New Kuwait 2035” vision, to support digital transformation and enhance the country’s global competitiveness.
Ibrahim said in a press statement on the sidelines of the “Digital Empowerment and Artificial Intelligence Forum” organized by the Authority today, in cooperation with the Artificial Intelligence Association, that the forum represents a specialized platform that brings together experts, decision-makers, engineers, and technical project managers to discuss ways to apply artificial intelligence technologies in various fields.
She added that the three-day forum will also discuss improving government performance, enhancing operational efficiency, and developing advanced cybersecurity solutions.
Additionally, she explained that the forum will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence and information technology.
These would include; machine learning, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and big data analysis, which contributes to enabling Kuwaiti institutions to adopt these technologies that will raise operational efficiency and improve their digital services.
Likewise, Ibrahim also pointed out that the forum comes at a time when the region is witnessing rapid developments in digital infrastructure and communications, as these developments directly affect how businesses are managed and services provided, which need updating technical policies to enhance future readiness to face security and technical challenges.
