Kuwait advances 13 places on the Global Financial Centers Index 2024
The Supreme Council for Planning and Development announced that Kuwait City has advanced 13 places on the Global Financial Centers Index for 2024, ranking 69th globally out of 133 and 5th in the Arab world and the Gulf.
The Planning and Development Council stated in a post on the social networking site “X” today that Kuwait City was ranked 82nd out of 132 cities listed on the index, as per Al Jarida.
The Global Financial Centers Index has been issued semi-annually since 2007 by the British Z Yin Foundation and the China Development Institute. The index measures the competitiveness of financial centers around the world through five groups of factors: human capital, infrastructure, financial sector development, business environment and reputation.
