Kuwait Crown Prince meets business leaders in New York

• His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing his desire to strengthen the presence of international companies in the State of Kuwait and to facilitate the transfer of their expertise.

His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, met with Jonathan D. Gray, President and COO of Blackstone, at his residence in New York City, USA, according to Al Qabas newspaper.

His Highness also received David M. Rubenstein, Co-Founder and Co-Chairman of The Carlyle Group, at his residence in New York City.

Additionally, His Highness met with David Solomon, Chairman and CEO of The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., as well as Judson Althoff, Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Microsoft.

His Highness also received Steve Lutes, Vice President and Deputy Head of Middle East, Central Asia, and Türkiye at the US Chamber of Commerce, at his New York City residence.

During the meetings, His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, expressing his desire to strengthen the presence of international companies in the State of Kuwait and to facilitate the transfer of their expertise. They also discussed various economic and investment issues, exchanged insights on the latest global developments, and explored ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides.

The meetings were attended by Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, Director General of the Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the United States Shaikha Al-ZainSabah Al-Naser Al-Sabah, and Permanent Representative of the State of Kuwait to the United Nations Ambassador Tariq Mohammed Albanai.
