Come September brings welcome relief in electrical loads

The electrical load index began to record a noticeable decrease in load volumes at the beginning of this month ( 15,510 megawatts) due to a drop in temperatures to 44 degrees C.

With the beginning of September, the ministry is breathing a sigh of relief, as temperatures begin to drop, which contributes to reducing consumption and stabilizing the index in the green zone.

Sources said that this reduces pressure on the network and indicates the near end of the peak season, noting that the last week of August was the most difficult, with the highest electrical load of 17,630 megawatts recorded, as reported by Al Anba.

With the end of this difficult stage, the ministry has reached safe levels, however this does not imply that the peak season has ended completely. The ministry is still urging people to follow rationalization to reduce consumption and avoid any emergencies.
