MoJ lauds Sahel’s 7.5 million earnings in first half

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) announced statistics on services provided through “Sahel” during the first half of the year. The MOJ reported via its account on X platform that “the number of electronic transactions requested and executed through the “Sahel” application reached more than 1,211,000 transactions in the first half of 2024, an increase of 50% over the same period the previous year.

The number of notifications that reached users was 3 million in the first half of 2024, an increase of 66% over the same period the previous year” as reported by the Arabic daily Al Rai.

The MoJ also indicated that the availability of electronic payment services via the “Sahel” application contributed significantly to collecting due amounts, as the total financial payments made via the Sahel app in the first half of 2024 reached KD 7.5 million, an increase of 53% over the same period of the previous year.

The Ministry confirmed that it is continuing to intensify its efforts towards digital transformation through the “Sahel” application, and that its main goal is to provide premium customer services.
