  • Yousef Al-Fajji called on commercial activity owners to ensure they renew all types of licenses to avoid reports of violations or expired licenses.

The Public Relations Department of the Municipality announced that the central team has begun inspection tours, starting with Mubarakiya markets, to verify compliance with the municipality’s regulations and systems by shop and restaurant owners, according to Al Anba newspaper.

In this context, the team’s head, Yousef Al-Fajji, confirmed that the team will intensify field tours to inspect shops and advertisements, starting with Mubarakiya markets and continuing with other markets in the governorates.

Al-Fajji noted that the first round of inspections resulted in various violations, including failure to renew advertisement licenses, unauthorized use of spaces, and safety violations for not adhering to the municipality’s regulations and laws.

He called on commercial activity owners to ensure they renew all types of licenses to avoid reports of violations or expired licenses. This is particularly important due to the continuous updates to regulations on advertisements, road, and market occupations, which have increased penalties and fines for violators. Compliance helps avoid violations and preserves the public interest.
