Al-Najat Charity launches project to provide fresh water to Somalia

To fulfill the wishes of its supporters, the Al-Najat Charitable Society has launched its monthly 7 Sanabelproject, dedicating this month’s efforts to providing fresh water in Somalia, according to Al Anba newspaper.

Abdul Ghafour Badr Al-Abdul Ghafour, the Director of the Resources and Campaigns Department at Al-Najat Charitable Society, stated that the project aims to dig artesian wells in drought-stricken areas.

This initiative continues the charitable work of the people of Kuwait worldwide and is implemented in cooperation with organizations approved by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs and under its supervision. Al-Najat Charity is also committed to documenting the drilling and operation of the wells.

Al-Abdul Ghafour emphasized that contributing to well construction for Muslims is a highly commendable act, citing the hadith of Saad bin Ubadah, may God be pleased with him. When he asked the Prophet, peace be upon Him, about the best form of charity for his deceased mother, the Prophet replied, Watering the thirsty.
