Farwaniya Governor targets single housing issue in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh priority push

• The Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh region has a unique human mix that may not be found in other parts of the country, said Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi, the Governor of Farwaniya.

• The governor emphasized the arrest of all violators and outlaws to ensure the highest level of security and safety for citizens and residents of the Farwaniya Governorate.

On Monday morning, Sheikh Athbi Nasser Al-Athbi, the Governor of Farwaniya, visited the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate, the Q8 Press reported.

The visit included an assessment of the security situation and the level of preparedness in the security sectors of the Farwaniya Governorate. There was also an emphasis on the importance of vigilance, attention, discipline, and adherence to the law to achieve security and stability.

The governor was briefed on the progress of security procedures and the readiness of security personnel to address any security situation that may arise.
Sheikh Athbi met with the employees of the directorate who were on duty and listened to their observations and opinions about the security situation and the difficulties they may face while performing their work.

At the conclusion of the tour, the governor expressed his appreciation to the members of the security establishment in Farwaniya Governorate, praising their dedication to work and their commitment to performing their duties with sincerity and seriousness.

On the other hand, Sheikh Athbi conducted a field tour in the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area, accompanied by Brigadier General Saleh Al-Azmi, the Director General of the Farwaniya Governorate Security Directorate, several security leaders from the Directorate, the Deputy Director General for Farwaniya Municipality Sector Affairs, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and M. Nawaf Al-Kandari, Director of the Municipality Branch Administration. Also present were M. Mubarak Al-Ajmi from Farwaniya Governorate, leaders from the Works and Fire Department, and officials from the governorate.

During the tour, the governor emphasized that the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh region and the issues it faces are among the top priorities of the Farwaniya Governorate. He noted that the region has a unique human mix that may not be found in other parts of the country.

He added, “We are continuing to eliminate the phenomenon of single people’s housing from its roots, which has become a problem troubling Kuwaiti society, as well as the problem of street vendors in dirt squares and the resulting negative effects on that region.”

The governor referred to coordination between the relevant ministries to eliminate these negative phenomena, expressing his readiness and constant cooperation in any field that would improve Farwaniya Governorate, thanking all parties working for this.

He also stressed the need to take immediate measures to assess the social, security, and health problems in these areas, emphasizing the arrest of all violators and outlaws to ensure the highest level of security and safety for citizens and residents of the governorate.

He thanked the Director of Security of Farwaniya Governorate, as well as the Ministries of Municipality and Works, the Kuwait Fire Force, and everyone who participated in this extensive tour.
