Kuwaiti student jailed five years for ISIS bomb plot on Husseiniya

The Juvenile Court, under Judge Fahd Al-Awadhi’s leadership, sentenced a tenth-grade student to five years in prison for joining ISIS and attempting to bomb a Husseiniya in Mubarak Al-Kabeer.

The court however acquitted him of harming the country’s interests. The student claimed in court that he hadn’t taken any practical steps towards his plan, had no explosives, and hadn’t progressed to the implementation stage.
