Kuwait witnesses 1,542 accidents, issues 23,744 violations in a week
In Kuwait's six governorates, the General Traffic Department impounded 200 vehicles and motorcycles.
During the period from the 20th to the 26th of this month, statistics from the General Traffic Department indicated 1,542 traffic accidents, including 248 serious accidents. Additionally, there were 1,394 minor accidents that did not result in injuries or fatalities.
The weekly statistics showed that 23,744 various traffic violations were issued. Additionally, traffic police arrested 35 juveniles for driving vehicles without driving licenses, and 36 people were detained by traffic police for committing serious violations.
During the campaigns carried out by the traffic police in the six governorates of Kuwait, 200 vehicles and motorcycles were referred to the vehicle impound garage.
On the other hand, yesterday on the Fahaheel Expressway, a collision between two vehicles occurred, resulting in the injury of two people who were taken to Al-Adan Hospital. A security source confirmed that their condition is very critical.
