Kuwait boosts port efficiency: 336 new customs auditors appointed

The appointments were distributed to customs border crossings to enhance administrative work and customs auditing.

Abdullah Al-Sharhan, the Acting Director General of Customs, issued 336 appointment decisions for customs auditors who obtained a diploma from the Public Authority for Applied Education. These appointments were distributed to customs border crossings to enhance administrative work and customs auditing.

The General Administration of Customs stated that appointing a distinguished group of customs auditors after obtaining their diploma is a great source of pride for the customs sector. It pointed out that the new customs auditors will be distributed to the documentation departments and customs ports according to the organizational plan prepared for them based on the needs of the work centers.

Customs confirmed that the new customs auditors have been trained and equipped with the rules and laws governing administrative and field work by an elite group of experts and specialists from Customs and the General Authority for Applied Education.

The appointment decisions were distributed by Al-Sharhan to the customs auditors at the administration theater in Shuwaikh.
