Kuwait detectives are looking for an unidentified motorist for running over and killing a motorcycle delivery worker near the Military Hospital roundabout.
The Ministry of Interior’s operations room received a report about a person lying near the roundabout. Police officers arriving at the scene found the delivery worker had succumbed to his injuries. His motorcycle was found some distance away.
Detectives assigned to identify and arrest the driver responsible, found the victim’s belongings, including two mobile phones, a wallet containing 214 dinars, his original Civil ID and a headset at the site of the accident.
In a separate case, police are looking for two unidentified young women who struck an elderly woman with a scooter near Youm Al-Bahar village and fled the scene.
In the first incident, an Iranian woman suffered fractures after being hit by two women riding a scooter. According to a security source, the victim’s son, a Kuwaiti, reported the accident to police. Officers immediately went to the location, where eyewitnesses confirmed that two unidentified women had struck the victim before speeding away.
The injured woman was taken to the new Al-Razi Hospital building for treatment. A case has been registered, and detectives are working to identify and apprehend the two suspects to establish the circumstances of the incident.
