Kuwait Health Minister urges concerted response to urological diseases
Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi said onFriday that combating urological diseases involves the integrated roles of healthfacilities and civil society institutions, chiefly the Kuwaiti Urological Association.
The minister made the statement while addressing the 19th Annual Conference ofthe Kuwaiti Urological Association, attracting a group of doctors, experts, andresearchers from inside and outside Kuwait.
During the two-day event, he underlined the significance of promoting healthawareness, prevention, and encouraging regular screenings, while combattingurological diseases.
The minister called for sharing knowledge and expertise as a fundamental pillar fordeveloping medical practice and exploring the latest developments in diagnosing andtreating diseases of the urinary and reproductive systems.
For his part, President of the Kuwaiti Urological Association and the conferencechairman Dr. Faisal Al-Hajri said that this year’s event focuses on male infertility andadvanced and high-tech treatments for prostate enlargement. – Kuna
