The United Arab Emirates has stressed the importance of de-escalation and prioritizing diplomatic and political solutions to address the current crises in the region, with the aim of maintaining stability and security.
In a statement issued early Thursday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said dialogue and adherence to international law were fundamental to resolving crises, reaffirming the country’s longstanding position in favour of settling disputes through peaceful and diplomatic means.
The ministry called for wisdom and political solutions to contain tensions, prevent further escalation and safeguard opportunities for development and prosperity across the region.
It also stressed the need to intensify diplomatic efforts and coordination with regional and international partners to address ongoing crises and strengthen peace and stability. These efforts, the UAE said, should support the aspirations of the peoples of the region for a safer and more prosperous future.
