Commerce Ministry shuts unlicensed online trading company

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has shut down a company trading in currencies and metals for conducting electronic trading without a licence and preventing customers from withdrawing their capital or receiving their profits.
The ministry said the company violated Article 13, Clause 6, of Ministerial Resolution No. 216 of 2014, which prohibits commercial establishments from advertising false information about products, services, prices or their ability to provide them. The ministry confirmed that it has taken the prescribed legal measures against the company.
