Two attacks targeted facilities at King Khalid International Airport and a Saudia airlines aircraft on Thursday, killing three Saudi citizens and injuring several others, Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said on Friday.
The injured sustained wounds ranging from mild to severe and were taken to hospital, GACA said in a press statement. Emergency teams and relevant authorities directly responded to the two attacks as per applied measures and plans, it added.
However, King Khalid International Airport has already resumed operations, it confirmed. – KUNA
