Kuwait Education Minister discusses strengthening educational cooperation with Finland
Kuwaiti Minister of Education Sayed Jalal Al-Tabtabaei discussed on Sunday ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in education with a delegation from Finland, focusing on benefiting from Finnish expertise and experiences in developing the education sector.
In a press statement, the Ministry of Education said the meeting addressed several topics of mutual interest in education, as well as opportunities to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides.
The discussions also focused on developing educational practices and benefiting from international experiences in relevant fields. The statement underscored the importance of expanding international cooperation in education to keep pace with global developments and support efforts to advance the education sector.
The Finnish delegation included Under-Secretary of State for International Trade at the Finnish Ministry for Foreign Affairs is Jarno Syrjala; Ambassador of Finland to Qatar and non-resident Ambassador to Kuwait Juha Mustonen; Programme Director for Education Finland at the Finnish National Agency for Education Jaakko Skantsi; and is the Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Finland in Doha Sara Stenroos.
