98 properties worth 32 million dinars traded last week

The statistics from the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department at the Ministry of Justice, reported on Monday, that 98 real estate contracts were registered last week, totaling a value of 32 million Kuwaiti dinars, which is approximately 105.6 million USD.

The statistics published on the Ministry’s website for the week of November 17 to 21, show that private property contracts led the market with 79 properties traded, worth 20.7 million dinars.

The Ministry of Justice reported that investment property contracts ranked second, with 18 properties traded for a total of 11 million dinars. Commercial properties saw the sale of one property worth 310 thousand dinars, while there was no movement in the coastal strip, exhibitions, warehouses, or industrial properties during the past week.

The geographical distribution statistics revealed that 7 private property contracts and one investment property contract, along with one commercial property contract, were traded in the Capital Governorate. In Hawalli Governorate, 9 private properties and 5 investment properties were traded, while Farwaniya saw the trade of 10 private properties.

The Ministry highlighted that Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate saw the trading of three private real estate contracts, while Al-Ahmadi Governorate recorded the highest activity, with 46 private real estate contracts and 12 investment property contracts. In contrast, Jahra Governorate had a more limited market, with only four private real estate contracts traded.
