90 people stripped of their Kuwaiti citizenship

The Supreme Committee for the Investigation of Kuwaiti Nationality held a meeting headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah.

The committee decided to withdraw the Kuwaiti citizenship from 90 people, in preparation for presenting the cases to the Council of Ministers, as reported by Al Qabas.

According to the committee’s decision, Kuwaiti citizenship was withdrawn in accordance with Article (11) of Kuwaiti Nationality Law No. (15) of 1959 and its amendments for 6 cases, in accordance with Article (21 bis A) of the Kuwaiti Citizenship Law No. (15) of 1959 and its amendments for one case, and in accordance with Article (13) of Kuwaiti Nationality Law No. (15) of 1959 and its amendments from 83 cases.
