8 shops in Salmiya shut down for selling counterfeit goods
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Kuwait has cracked down on counterfeit goods sales in Salmiya. Inspection teams seized eight shops in a commercial complex for selling counterfeit products.
This action is part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to regulate commercial activities and protect consumers from commercial fraud. Al-Rai newspaper reported that the teams immediately sealed the shops after recording the incident.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry reiterated its firm commitment to combating all forms of commercial fraud. They will continue to conduct field visits and inspection campaigns to deter violators and ensure consumer protection.
