7 bootleggers seized from Wafra agricultural area
The Public Morals Protection Sector affiliated to the Criminal Investigation Department has arrested seven men for engaging in the illicit activities of manufacturing local alcohol, possessing narcotics with the intent of trafficking, and possessing unlicensed weapons.
This came in line with the department’s ongoing efforts to monitor and address negative phenomena that contravene public morals across various governorates in the country.
The statement released by the Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior revealed the suspects were arrested inside the Al-Wafra agricultural area.
During the operation, authorities seized four barrels of raw material and fourteen large bottles containing intoxicating substances, along with ten sachets of narcotics and two air guns.
