3 years imprisonment for parking in “disabled” spot

The Ministry of Interior has announced a 150 dinar fine for parking in spaces designated for people with disabilities if a reconciliation order is approved, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the law to avoid penalties.
The ministry announced that, starting April 22, the fine for parking in spaces designated for people with disabilities will be 150 dinars.
It added that if referred to the court, the penalty includes imprisonment for over one year and up to three years, a fine between 600 and 1,000 dinars, or one of these two penalties.
The Ministry of Interior’s notice regarding the violation of parking in spaces designated for people with disabilities is part of a campaign by the General Department of Public Relations and Security Media on the new traffic law, featuring awareness brochures in multiple languages.
