26,238 passengers at Kuwait airport provide biometric fingerprints in January 2024

Travelers are permitted to depart the State of Kuwait without undergoing fingerprinting procedures, with the requirement only upon their return.

The Ministry of Interior in Kuwait continues to collect biometric fingerprints from citizens, GCC citizens, and residents at all border points, Kuwait International Airport, and designated centers, it said in a statement.

The General Department of Public Relations and Security Media further said that citizens, GCC citizens, and residents can take their biometric fingerprints upon arrival at the centers and commercial complexes designated for this purpose, which are, Hawalli Security Directorate in Hawalli Governorate, Farwaniya Security Directorate in Farwaniya Governorate, Ahmadi Security Directorate in Ahmadi Governorate, Mubarak Al-Kabeer Security Directorate in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate, Jahra Security Directorate in Jahra Governorate (for citizens and GCC citizens), Personal Investigation Department – Company Fingerprinting Section in Ali Sabah Al-Salem area, Personal Investigation Department – Company Fingerprinting Section in Jahra area (for residents), The Avenues Mall, 360 Mall, The Kout Mall, Capital Mall and Ministry Complex.

The ministry clarified that travelers are permitted to depart the State of Kuwait without undergoing fingerprinting procedures, with the requirement only upon their return.
