20 building violations flagged in Hawalli and Salmiya areas

The Public Relations Department announced that inspection teams from the Engineering Audit and Follow-up Department in Hawalli Governorate conducted a field tour to address building violations across investment, commercial, industrial, and private housing sectors. They took necessary enforcement measures and ensured compliance with regulations, Al Jarida reported.
The administration confirmed in a statement that twenty warnings were issued for building violations, including two for investment housing in Hawalli and Salmiya, during the fourth field tour in Hawalli Governorate.
A specialized monitoring team conducted inspections across several areas, identified violations, and took the necessary measures. It stated that the fourth round will be followed by several more across all governorates, based on a timetable prepared by the Public Relations Management team in coordination with relevant departments to implement these inspections in the coming weeks.
