2 Food Security Tenders announced for northern and southern regions

The Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eid Al-Rashidi, confirmed today, Saturday that the Ministry spares no effort in addressing food security, emphasizing its importance and the ongoing commitment to supporting and providing for it.

In a statement during the opening of the Abdali seasonal market, Al-Rashidi highlighted that 2 tenders had been issued concerning agricultural matters for the northern and southern regions, as well as logistical matters related to roads.

Al-Rashidi stressed that the Ministry of Public Works is ‘present to support all matters related to food security in the country’.

Furthermore, Al-Rashidi stated that there is ongoing coordination with all relevant parties, including the Farmers Union, to address their needs and strengthen food security.
