18 Violations and 5 warnings issued in ‘Shuwaikh Industrial Area’

The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality announced that supervisory teams from the Audit and Follow-up Departments are conducting an inspection campaign throughout January to monitor shop and advertisement licenses. The campaign aims to enforce compliance with regulations and take necessary measures against violators.

Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi, Market Supervisor at the Audit and Municipal Services Follow-up Department at the Capital Municipality, confirmed that 18 violations were issued for commercial activities, along with 5 warnings for exploiting space on state property in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area.

Following the Kuwait Municipality’s establishment of controls for transporting damaged and used tyres to recycling plants, based on an administrative circular issued by the Director of the Municipality, Eng. Manal Al-Asfour, the Deputy Director General for Services Sector Affairs, Mishaal Al-Azmi, held a meeting yesterday with relevant authorities to discuss the implementation of these controls. The aim is to organize the transportation process of damaged and used tyres from their source to recycling facilities.
