100 seats of ‘Kuwait-Korea’ match reserved for outstanding students
The Minister of Education, Eng. Jalal Al-Tabtabaei, launched an initiative to offer distinguished male and female students, a rare opportunity to support Kuwait’s team in its journey towards the 2026 Football World Cup qualifiers.
The initiative is launched in cooperation with the Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
The Ministry of Education, in coordination with the Kuwait Football Association, announced the allocation of 100 seats for outstanding 12th-grade students of the 2023-24, academic year.
These students will have the opportunity to attend the match between Kuwait’s national football team and South Korea, part of the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The match is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 5:00 pm, at Jaber International Stadium.
The Education Ministry announced that the 100 seats allocated for outstanding students will be distributed in the main cabin of Jaber International Stadium.
Of these, 50 seats will be reserved for male students from the scientific and literary departments, while the other 50 seats will be for female students. The ministry emphasized its commitment in encouraging students to continue excelling and striving for success.
As a significant endeavour, the Ministry highlighted that this initiative supports the integration of academic and sports aspects in students’ lives.
It aims to enhance their sense of responsibility, belonging, and to encourage them for their active participation in Kuwait’s national events.
