KFF deploys 57 safety points during Muharram to ensure compliance with regulations

Colonel Ali bin Haid, Head of the Notifications Department in the Capital Governorate’s Prevention Sector, stated 57 security points have been established by the Kuwait Fire Force across all governorates to ensure compliance with safety regulations for the benefit of mourning councils during Muharram.

The KFF has emphasized the importance of adhering to safety and prevention measures during the month of Muharram, to safeguard the lives of participants and protect property.

The fire prevention teams have instructed mourning council organizers on the need to provide adequate emergency exits, remove flammable materials, and install manual fire extinguishers. They also stressed the importance of assigning designated safety officers for each gathering.

Colonel Bin Haid confirmed that inspection tours would continue throughout the month, in collaboration with other relevant authorities, as part of a comprehensive plan aimed at creating a safe environment for religious observances.

He called on citizens and residents to cooperate with preventive teams and follow the instructions and guidelines issued by the Fire Force, underscoring that safety is a shared responsibility.
