‘Zahrat Al-Arfaj’ blooms in Municipal Council in tribute to frontline heroes

In a scene filled with national pride, Kuwait’s Municipal Council members, along with Municipality Director Abeer Al-Asfoor, wore the “Zahrat Al-Arfaj” badge during a main council session, in a symbolic show of support for a nationwide campaign honoring frontline heroes.
The gesture reflects appreciation for the sacrifices and efforts of those who have stood as a steadfast line of defense to safeguard the country’s security and stability. Council members emphasized that wearing the badge goes beyond symbolism, representing a sincere message of gratitude to all who have dedicated themselves to serving Kuwait.
They noted that the Arfaj flower embodies the resilience of the Kuwaiti spirit, thriving despite challenges and returning to bloom each spring as a symbol of renewal and strength.
The initiative received broad support within the council, with attendees describing it as a reflection of national responsibility and unity. Members stressed that the campaign reinforces social solidarity and pays tribute to individuals who have given selflessly across various sectors.
They added that “Zahrat Al-Arfaj” will continue to stand as a living symbol of loyalty and generosity, evoking deep-rooted national bonds and reaffirming the ongoing commitment of Kuwaitis to serve their homeland.
