Young man arrested for drug abuse

Security support patrols in Jahra arrested a young man in his thirties in the Al-Qasr area yesterday morning for drug use and possession. He was found in possession of approximately 90 narcotic pills along with drug paraphernalia.

During routine patrols conducted by the Jahra Security Directorate in wee hours, patrol officers became suspicious of a parked car with its interior lights on, reports Al-Anba daily.

Upon investigation, they discovered the presence of an individual inside the vehicle consuming narcotics. The suspect, identified as an unemployed man in his thirties, was promptly arrested.
