Young Generation Academy of Kuwait holds Family and Multi-cultural Day 2024

The Young Generation Academy of Kuwait teachers, students and parents held a family day paired with multi cultural program Friday at The Walk Mall in Salmiyah. The full day event featured impressive cultural presentations depicting various countries, fun games, cheering competitions and awarding of recognition to students.

The full day event kicked off with a brief warm up regimen led by Sharon Castro and prayer by Fe Rivera. The Kuwait National Anthem was led by Elisa Edang followed by the Kuwait National Anthem. Michelle Liscano spearheaded the school hymn and a welcome remarks by the school principal Lornan Vegiga.

Presentations followed  featured students from Nursery to Grade 12. The event came to a halt to give way to the prayers followed by lunch break. Parade of teams and Yella nd Cheer competiiton showcased the Back Panthers, Orange and Green teams, Blue Wolves, Orange Team, Red Hunters and Purple Toros. Fun games also followed to the deligth of the crowd. The event ended with the awarding of prizes to the winners and closing remarks from Michelle Liscano. The event was hosted by Marichu Olegario and Ahmad Bani. Ooredoo also handed out free sim cards to everyone present in the event.

“I would like  to thank all the teachers for all the efforts and dedication to achieve a successful event and to the parents for the continued support to their children and academy and to everyone who in their own ways gave their time to be present in the occasion” ended Lorna Vegiga, Principal.
