Work and study visas now issued digitally, says UK Embassy in Kuwait

The British Embassy in Kuwait has announced a shift to digital visas for select categories of work and study permits. Starting Tuesday, only approved main applicants under specific visa types will receive an electronic visa (e-visa) instead of a physical visa sticker in their passport.
The update was shared via the embassy’s official Instagram account, noting that this change aligns with the United Kingdom’s broader strategy to digitize its immigration system.
According to the embassy, this move marks a key step in modernizing visa processing and improving efficiency.
Travelers approved for eligible visa categories will now receive their visa electronically and no longer need to submit their passport for visa stamping.
