Women’s inclusion in Kuwait military enters final phase

Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, met with senior military leaders on Monday as part of ongoing efforts to integrate women into the armed forces, reported Arabic daily Al Jarida.
The meeting reviewed the legal, organizational, and administrative frameworks related to the inclusion of women across various ranks and military specialties.
The briefing also emphasized the importance of providing a suitable work environment and a comprehensive training path that enables women to carry out their duties efficiently and competently.
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army affirmed that this step aligns with the ongoing modernization and development of the Kuwaiti Army. He praised the valuable contributions that Kuwaiti women can offer across various military sectors and noted that the project is in its final stages in preparation for implementation.
The meeting was attended by the Assistant Chief of Staff for Administration and Human Resources, the Head of the Military Judiciary Authority, the Commander of Ali Al-Sabah Military College, the Head of the Military Education Authority, and several senior officers.
