Visitors to Kuwait must arrive on Kuwait Airways or Jazeera Airways only

The Ministry of Interior has issued new regulations for family visit visas, requiring visitors to arrive on either Kuwait Airways or Jazeera Airways. Visitors arriving on other airlines will be denied entry and deported.

The decision aims to support the national carrier and ensure the smooth entry of visitors. The Ministry of Interior has instructed the Directorate General of Civil Aviation to implement the decision immediately.

A source told Al Jarida newspaper that the Ministry of Interior has informed all airlines operating in Kuwait about the new regulations. Visitors who have already booked tickets on other airlines will be allowed to enter the country, but they will be required to purchase a return ticket on either Kuwait Airways or Jazeera Airways.

The new regulations are expected to have a significant impact on the travel industry in Kuwait. It is unclear how long the regulations will remain in place.
