Viet Nam Congratulates Kuwait on National and Liberation Days

On behalf of the Government and people of Viet Nam, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and sincere best wishes to His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, on the momentous occasion of the 65th anniversary of Kuwait’s Independence and the 35th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the State of Kuwait. These important national anniversaries stand as proud symbols of Kuwait’s sovereignty, resilience, and outstanding achievements.

Viet Nam attaches great importance to the strong bond of friendship and cooperation that unites our two nations. The year 2026 holds special significance for both Viet Nam and Kuwait as we jointly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. Over the past half-century, the relationship between Viet Nam and Kuwait has achieved remarkable outcomes, evolving from humble beginnings into a deep, strategic partnership strengthened by shared values, mutual trust and friendship.

s Kuwait celebrates these historic milestones, Viet Nam expresses its admiration for the country’s ongoing progress and constructive role at both regional and global stages. We strongly believe that, under the leadership of His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Kuwait will continue to reach the new height of development and prosperity, and the Viet Nam-Kuwait friendship and cooperation will unceasingly flourish for the benefit of both nations and our peoples.

We wish His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, always good health and happiness.
