US President Donald Trump said on Monday that he believes the war with Iran is “going to be ended soon.” Speaking at a press conference in Washington, he said that there was rapid progress on the plan laid out before the military operation, so it is going to be ended soon.
However, Trump underlined that his country would continue striking Iran until its threat is eliminated. He added that US military forces have so far succeeded in neutralizing Iran’s offensive capabilities and destroying its missile weapons, noting an 83 percent decrease in Iranian drones.
But, he said, “And if it starts up again, they’ll be, they’ll be hit even harder,” he said of Ira.. Earlier in the day, Trump said that military operations would continue against Iran until totally and decisively defeated.
“We will not relent until the enemy is totally and decisively defeated. We go forward more determined than ever to achieve ultimate victory that will end this long running danger once and for all,” he told a gathering of republicans in Florida. – KUNA
