US Embassy in Kuwait tells Americans ‘Renew passports before summer rush’
To facilitate the process, the embassy offers a convenient drop-off service for most adult passport renewals, eliminating the need for an appointment.

The US Embassy in Kuwait in a statement posted on its X account under the headline, ‘Attention American Citizens… Avoid Summer Crowds – Renew Your Passports Now,’ has advised travelers to check the validity of their passports and not to delay the renewal process to avoid disruptions ahead of the busy summer travel season.
Additionally, the statement urged citizens to check the validity of their children’s passports, since they are valid only for five years and require more frequent renewal.
The embassy reminded citizens that most countries, including Kuwait, require passports to be valid for at least six months upon entry. It also warned that due to high seasonal demand, obtaining a new passport through the embassy could take several weeks.
