US embassy honours over 100 distinguished Kuwaiti alumni
The U.S. Embassy hosted a vibrant reception and networking event at the Radisson Blu Hotel to honor distinguished and active Kuwaiti alumni who have studied in the United States. More than one hundred Kuwaiti alumni attended the reception to celebrate the enduring educational exchange between Kuwait and the United States.
U.S. Ambassador to Kuwait, Karen Sasahara, underscored the profound historical ties between Kuwait and the United States, emphasizing the pivotal role that educational exchange plays in strengthening bilateral relations over the past six decades. Shehighlighted that five generations of Kuwaitis pursued their academic endeavors in the United States, contributing to the deepening of understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
Ambassador Sasahara remarked, “As someone from Boston, a city known for its rich academic heritage, I am proud to witness the transformative impact of educational exchange. Boston epitomizes the spirit of learning and critical thinking that defines the U.S. education model. By fostering a robust network of alumni, we aim to facilitate ongoing collaboration and exchange between Kuwait and the United States, thereby contributing to mutual prosperity and understanding.”
