UPNRI Forum Kuwait hosts free health camp at ICSK Junior

The UPNRI Forum Kuwait, in partnership with the Forum of Indian Doctors (FID), organized a Free Health Check-Up Camp on November 21, 2025 at ICSK Junior, Salmiya.
The initiative provided free consultations and diagnostic services to more than 500 residents, reflecting the Forum’s continued commitment to community welfare.

The camp was inaugurated by H.E. Paramita Tripathi, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, who commended the Forum for its ongoing efforts to support public health.
The event was led by President Zeeshan Ullah Khan and General Secretary Shafaq Mumtaz, with strong support from Office Bearers, Executive Members, and the ICSK Management, whose cooperation and facilities ensured smooth operations.

A medical team comprising 59 doctors, 12 dentists, and 23 nurses from FID, IDAK, the Kuwait Heart Foundation, Tamil Nadu Nurses Forum, and English Optics offered services across a wide range of specialties, including general medicine, cardiology, dentistry, ophthalmology, oncology, orthopedics, and preventive care.
Key Health Findings and Services Provided
The extensive screenings uncovered several new medical issues among participants, including — Critically high blood pressure cases (>180/100); Elevated blood sugar and cholesterol levels; Cardiac conduction abnormalities (LBBB, RBBB); Gallbladder stones, uterine fibroids, hydronephrosis, bladder stones; PCOD, DUB, tennis elbow; Presbyopia, refractive errors, and various dermatological conditions

Notably, 37 women were referred for further evaluation following suspicious breast-screening results.
The camp also marked two firsts for UPNRI — On-site 2D echocardiography evaluations and Initial mental health counseling sessions

In total, the medical team performed over 85 ultrasound scans, more than 100 cholesterol tests, multiple ECGs, and comprehensive clinical assessments.

More than 125 volunteers—including UPNRI members, students, and youth volunteers—worked tirelessly to ensure seamless coordination throughout the event. This is in addition to sponsor.
The successful health camp further strengthened UPNRI Forum Kuwait’s mission to promote community service and enhance the well-being of the Indian diaspora in Kuwait.
