The United Arab Emirates has announced the full agenda for UAE–Kuwait Relations Week, which begins next Thursday and runs until February 4, featuring more than 40 cultural, community, and entertainment events across the country. The initiative comes in line with the directives of the UAE leadership to celebrate the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the UAE and Kuwait.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the celebratory week, held under the slogan “UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever,” aims to highlight the strong historical ties between the two brotherly nations across social, cultural, economic, and humanitarian spheres, reports Al-Anba daily.

The program includes the illumination of iconic landmarks in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, fireworks displays, drone shows, and an innovative maritime parade symbolizing Gulf heritage and the spirit of unity and solidarity between the two countries. Musical and artistic performances will celebrate the shared cultural and artistic legacy of the UAE and Kuwait.

The week also features forums, cultural sessions, strategic dialogues, family and children’s programs, heritage-inspired workshops, screenings of classic Kuwaiti films, a Kuwaiti food festival, events at shopping malls and tourist destinations, and special receptions for Kuwaiti citizens arriving at UAE airports, complete with commemorative gifts.

As part of the celebrations, the Kuwaiti–Emirati Media Forum will be held on January 29. The forum will draw inspiration from the historical, cultural, and humanitarian milestones that have united the two countries for decades.

It will serve as a comprehensive platform highlighting educational, media, cultural, and sporting cooperation, while honoring pioneers who played a key role in strengthening bilateral ties.

The forum will also showcase rare documents and photographs reflecting the depth of relations, alongside strategic dialogues with prominent diplomatic and cultural figures on the future of UAE–Kuwait cooperation and Gulf integration.

The program further includes the UAE–Kuwait Economic Forum, scheduled for February 2, which aims to strengthen economic, trade, and investment relations. The forum will explore investment opportunities, promote trade in targeted sectors, support entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, and highlight success stories from both countries, while examining frameworks to deepen economic integration.

In Abu Dhabi, the “Kuwait Nights in the UAE” event will be held on January 29 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), featuring performances by leading Emirati and Kuwaiti artists, including Nabil Shuail, Ahlam, Ayedh Al Menhali, and Abdulaziz Al Dhuwaihi. A traditional dhow parade adorned with the flags of both countries will also take place along the capital’s waterfront.

Yas Island will host a range of activities and entertainment throughout the week, with exclusive discounts on entry tickets and facilities for Emirati and Kuwaiti citizens. Several landmarks across Abu Dhabi will be illuminated in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, while Kuwaiti visitors will receive free entry to the Sheikh Zayed Festival, which will feature fireworks, folkloric performances, commemorative gifts, and a photo exhibition documenting UAE–Kuwait relations.

In Dubai, the celebrations include “Kuwait’s Timeless Nights in the UAE” on January 30 at Burj Park Boulevard, with performances by Hussein Al Jasmi, Mutrif Al Mutrif, Balqees, and Khaled Al Mudhaffar. The “Kuwait at Home” cultural event will run from January 29 to February 4 at Jumeirah Kite Beach, combining music, live performances, and cuisine in a contemporary showcase of Emirati and Kuwaiti culture.

Dubai will also host Kuwait Cinema Week, featuring classic Kuwaiti films, while Expo City’s House of Art will present a cultural program celebrating Kuwaiti creativity on February 3. Additional highlights include drone and fireworks displays, projection shows, airport receptions for Kuwaiti visitors, illuminated landmarks, and special offers at hotels, malls, restaurants, and tourist attractions.

In Fujairah, iconic landmarks will be lit in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, while Fujairah Fort will host the Kuwait in Fujairah Festival on January 31, featuring artistic and cultural events and a heritage exhibition. Ras Al Khaimah will also illuminate key landmarks and host a joint concert on February 4, alongside a Kuwaiti food festival on Al Marjan Island.

The week-long celebrations reflect the enduring bonds between the UAE and Kuwait, reaffirming their shared history, cultural closeness, and commitment to deepening cooperation at both official and popular levels.
