The UAE Ministry of Defense announced on Friday morning that its air defenses are actively engaging with missile and UAV threats.
In a press release, the ministry said that the sounds heard across the country are the result of ongoing engaging operations of missiles and UAV’s.
It urged the public to be calm and follow safety and security instructions issued by relevant authorities.
