U.S. Embassy hosts master class with renowned pastry chef Adrian Lipscombe
The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait recently held an exclusive culinary master class led by Chef Adrian Lipscombe, a James Beard Foundation Women’s Entrepreneurial Leadership alum and member of the American Culinary Corps, a partnership between the Beard Foundation and the U.S. State Department.
The event took place at the International Centre for Culinary Arts (ICCA-Kuwait) on September 26, where 12 participants learned to make apple butter biscuits under Chef Lipscombe’s expert instruction.
Visiting Kuwait for the first time through the U.S. State Department’s Arts Envoy program, Chef Lipscombe praised Kuwait’s dynamic food scene and the skill of local chefs. “I am truly impressed by the diversity and talent of the chefs here in Kuwait,” she shared.
The master class offered participants valuable insights into Chef Lipscombe’s innovative techniques, fostering cultural exchange between the United States and Kuwait while deepening the appreciation for the culinary arts.
