The U.S. Embassy in Kuwait has launched the second round of its educational campaign, “Take a Step,” aimed at guiding and empowering Kuwaiti youth as they pursue academic and professional opportunities.
Running from September through November, the campaign will include a variety of activities such as education fairs, TV and radio interviews with experts on studying in the United States and student visas, Instagram live sessions with U.S. universities, and visits to private schools.
“We are excited to continue the ‘Take a Step’ campaign this fall, as it reflects our strong commitment to supporting Kuwaiti students in achieving their academic goals,” said Dr. Farid Mohammed, Public Affairs Counselor at the U.S. Embassy. “Studying in the United States not only provides world-class education but also prepares students to contribute to Kuwait’s future, while further strengthening educational and cultural ties between our two countries.”
The embassy’s Education USA team is inviting students and parents to attend two key events:
- U.S. Educational Group (USEG) Fair – Thursday, September 25 at Marina Hotel, Salmiya, from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
- U.S. Higher Education Fair – Wednesday, October 8 at Hilton Garden Inn – Avenues, Sedra Ballrooms, from 6:00–9:00 p.m.
Both fairs will feature representatives from accredited U.S. universities, offering students the chance to meet admissions officers, explore scholarship opportunities, and learn more about the U.S. higher education system.
