Poor maintenance more often than not cause of vehicles fires

A vehicle burst into flames late at night on Al-Aqsa Street in the Salwa area, despite cooler nighttime temperatures.

In a separate incident, another vehicle caught fire yesterday morning at the Jahra Stables, resulting in significant damage.

While vehicle fires are often assumed to be linked to high temperatures, a firefighting source told Al-Anba that timing and weather are not the primary causes of these two mishaps, reports Al-Anba daily.

Instead, most vehicle fires stem from poor maintenance or electrical short circuits.

The source emphasized that regular maintenance, including checking for radiator leaks and ensuring the cooling system is full and functioning, plays a crucial role in preventing such fires.
