Two rescue officers injured after being hit by bus in Salwa
Two rescue police officers were taken to Mubarak Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after being run over while on duty. Their patrol car was damaged in the incident.
According to a security source, the officers were seated in their patrol vehicle when a speeding bus suddenly ran out of control and collided with their vehicle, reports Al-Anba daily.
The driver was detained at Salwa Police Station and charged with negligent driving and causing injuries, and damaging state property.
