Two Asian drugs traffickers arrested by Ahmadi CID men with contraband worth 200,000 dinars

The Ministry of Interior announced that the Ahmadi Governorate CID men have arrested two Asians involved in the trafficking and distribution of narcotics inside Kuwait.
The operation, described as qualitative, underscores the high level of vigilance and efficiency demonstrated by the Criminal Investigation Department in combating drug-related crimes.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, the arrests followed accurate intelligence reports indicating that the suspects were promoting narcotics in the Ahmadi Governorate.
In response, a specialized security team was formed to verify the information, monitor the suspects’ activities, and track their movements.
After careful surveillance, the suspects were caught in possession of large and varied quantities of narcotics.
The search operation led to the seizure of the following substances:
- 3.658 kilograms of shabu
- 557 grams of chemicals
- 363 grams of marijuana
- 348 grams of heroin
- 14 grams of hashish
- 8,150 psychotropic pills
The ministry estimated the market value of the seized drugs at approximately 200,000 Kuwaiti dinars. Both suspects, along with the confiscated items, were referred to the competent authorities for further legal action and subsequent referral to the Public Prosecution.
The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying efforts to combat drug trafficking and protect society from its dangers, emphasizing that such operations will continue as part of its ongoing campaign to preserve public safety.
