Turkish Embassy treats Kuwait guests to Türkiye flavors on World Breakfast Day

The Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in Kuwait organized a breakfast event at Namlı Gurme Restaurant on 7 June on the occasion of World Breakfast Day.
The event, held to showcase and offer guests an authentic experience of Turkish breakfast culture, was attended by ambassadors accredited to Kuwait, members of the business community, representatives of international organizations, and distinguished members of the diplomatic corps.
In her brief remarks at the event, H.E. Ms. Tuba Nur Sönmez, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Kuwait, emphasized that the Turkish breakfast is more than merely a meal, representing a strong symbol of sharing, togetherness, and cultural richness.
Ambassador Sönmez noted that Turkish breakfast tables constitute a unique tradition where a variety of flavors come together in harmony, accompanying long conversations and strengthening social bonds.
As part of the program, guests were offered a carefully curated menu featuring a rich selection of breakfast items from various regions of Türkiye.
The breakfast, served with traditional Turkish cheeses, assorted olives, honey, clotted cream, jams, freshly baked pastries, and Turkish tea, provided participants with an opportunity to experience the authentic and deeply rooted breakfast tradition of Turkish cuisine.
