TSC, PAY sign MoU to empower youth and promote scientific awareness
The Scientific Center signed a memorandum of understanding with the Public Authority for Youth to strengthen cooperation in youth empowerment and promoting scientific culture.
Musaed Al-Yassin, Director of the Scientific Center, told KUNA that the memorandum reflects a shared commitment to developing youth capabilities and fostering scientific and environmental awareness, as well as building national capacities. He said the agreement includes designing and implementing training programs and initiatives focused on equipping youth with vital environmental and societal skills.
Al-Yassin added that the initiative aligns with the center’s policy of partnering with state institutions to support development goals by offering volunteer opportunities, youth initiatives, and vocational training. The goal is to position the center as a hub for interactive learning and educational experiences.
Acting Director of the Youth Authority, Nasser Al-Sheikh, also emphasized the importance of the partnership, affirming the authority’s commitment to building strategic ties with key national institutions.
He noted that the memorandum will help deliver high-quality programs that meet the ambitions of young people and support their scientific and cognitive development. Al-Sheikh praised the Scientific Center’s key role in spreading scientific knowledge and environmental awareness across Kuwait.
